“A healthy balance between innovative and classic.”

From a young age Blake has had a truly deep rooted connection with music. With a first love of hip-hop in the late 80′s to early 90′s, he took that love further and further. After discovering the rave scene in the mid to late 90′s, Blake fell for house music. Soon he would buy turntables and explore the world of dj’ing. This was just the beginning for a musical and spiritual voyage. Going to record stores and digging for vinyl allowed for a “traditional school of dj’ing.” His dj’ing began in house parties and reached clubs in no time. Playing in indi hip-hop shows as a back up dj to the emcees with scratches and cuts was the first taste in performing with other artists.

Studying not only music that he played at parties but music he collected for listening, the feeling of learning musical production overwhelmed this young dj. Developing an ear and understanding for a wide spectrum of music became a new addiction like none before. Collecting various pro-audio software, gear and instruments to enhance the skill of creating music was at hand. Blake enrolled in Audio Engineering school to take his production and recording to another level. Meanwhile playing in top clubs on a weekly basis to maintain master dj and party rocking skills. Sharing the stage with such great acts as Public Enemy, DJ Am, DJ Craze, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Steve Aoki, Tommy Sunshine just to name a few. Now he has played music festivals, clubs, lounges, and private parties in different parts of the U.S. and europe. Still dj’ing and producing Blake currently has several projects in the works, including collaborations with talented artists.
