Rev

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

“I play music to make people party… hard.”

Passion for music is what DJ Rev is all about. Originally from a small town in Arkansas, Rev moved to Dallas in 2008 and within one year became one of the most in-demand DJs in Dallas nightlife. His style of mixing not Only blends old and new hip-hop with dirty electro house, but also adds a splash of 80′s, reggae, pop, and more. Rev has held residencies at every high profile nightclub in Dallas, including: Aura Lounge, Wish Ultralounge, Vice, Obar, and Glo Lounge just to name a few. No matter what club he is in, people will be partying.

Rev has also DJed rap concerts including Lil Flip and the Ying Yang Twins; Corporate events with Skyy Vodka, VHI, and US Weekly magazine; Celebrity parties including Paris Hilton and John Legend. In a world of thousands of talented DJs, Rev is always trying to push the envelope to set his style apart.

NVS

“The DJ you love to hate.”

While most Dallas DJs are conforming to the Southern DJ stereotype, DJ NVS is setting himself apart from the herd.

Originally from Oxnard, CA, DJ NVS got his start spinning at local clubs and raves. Shortly after he linked up with the crew at KCSB Santa Barbara and earned a biweekly spot on an EDM mix show by the name of “The Groove” which led to various guest spots on Q104.7 in Ventura.

A few years later, he made the choice to move to Dallas, Texas. After paying his dues for a couple of years, he earned a slot on another small, but reputable radio station, KNON Energy 89.3 FM.

From there he met Flshr Pryce and Ing Too and formed Los Hip Hop Guys. LHHG rocked 4×4 mash up sets at many clubs and underground hip hop shows. Which is how he met DJ Marvel. Shortly after meeting Marvel, they began rocking all the Dallas hot spots and together held down a residency at one of Dallas’ hottest clubs, Dolce!

Some more recent accomplishments included being asked to join Crooklyn Clan’s Crack4djs.net, being featured on Wild 94.9 Club 949 with DJ e-Rock, and DJ’ing with the world famous DJ Vice!
